The Love Triangle of the Century Explained

Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber's Decade-Long Feud has Picked Up Yet Again. This is the Love Triangle of the Century Explained.

Just when we thought that Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez waved the white flag, we were proven wrong. The internet has been going crazy over the petty remarks and shade thrown by Hailey Bieber these past few weeks. In case you missed it, this is a timeline of everything that has happened involving the two in the past decade.

February 23, 2023

The rumors regarding shade between Bieber and Gomez sparked up following a TikTok video posted by Gomez. Gomez took to TikTok to make fun of herself after she over laminated her eyebrows. She posted this right after she surpassed Kylie Jenner on Instagram as the most followed person on the app. Following this, Kylie Jenner posted on her Instagram story a screenshot from her and Hailey Biebers FaceTime call.

The photo was both Jenner and Bieber's eyebrows, which happened to be perfectly laminated.

This post immediately started controversy and fans of Selena were quick to notice the questionable shade.

Kylie Jenner shot down rumors of possible shade toward Selena calling the assumptions a "reach" and "silly."

Gomez also said she was a fan of Jenner and shot the rumors down as well. However this was the cherry on top for Selena fans, especially after Hailey's deleted TikTok just a month prior.

January 11, 2023

Selena Gomez has struggled with weight gain problems due to her diagnosis of Lupus. Paparazzi were quick to take advantage of this when they leaked photos of her in a bathing suit. The headlines were brutal but fans were quick to defend Selena.

Following this incident, Hailey Bieber posted a TikTok with Kendall Jenner and Justine Sky.

The models lip-synced to an audio that said, "I'm not saying she deserved it, but God's timing is always right."

The video immediately received backlash as it seemed extremely targeted toward Gomez.

Hailey eventually deleted the video and responded that it was, "a random TikTok sound for fun. It wasn't directed towards anyone."

In February 2023, Gomez responded to a fan reacting to the video of Hailey and friends and said, "It's OK! I don't let things like this get me down. Be nice to everyone!"

The comment made by Selena Gomez seemed to confirm that Bieber's TikTok was targeted towards her. This sent fans of Selena into a deep dive of past petty comments and shade continually thrown by Bieber. The evidence dates back to Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber's on and off again relationship over a decade ago. The shade started after the two pop stars officially split. Just two months after Selena and Justin's split, Hailey (then) Baldwin, and Justin Bieber were engaged. Fans have noticed that while Hailey has done shady things to Selena, she has also made very weird attempts to copy Selena.

August 13, 2020

In 2020, Selena Gomez announced her new cooking show that would be premiering on HBO Max. The show was called Selena + Chef, and it was an absolute success. The show aired for four seasons.

Gomez opened her show with a retro camera, and she emphasized how she wanted this show to be filmed in her house. "This is my real home, everything that we are doing is at home. This is my amazing kitchen which is the set."

Selena also jokes on the show that she says "okie dokie," too much. They even had a designated "okie dokie" jar in the house, and when she says those words her friends make her put a dollar in it.

This all seems like minor details until you compare them with Hailey Biebers Youtube series in 2022.

You guessed it! Hailey Bieber decided to start her own cooking show. Hailey announced her YouTube cooking segment What's in my Kitchen, in December of 2022.

However, similar to Gomez, it was being filmed in her real kitchen. "We actually are in my real kitchen, in my real house, this is not a set, this is where I really live," said Bieber.

This immediately made fans speculate the true intensions of Biebers show as it was extremely similar to Selenas. Bieber also started her show using the same vintage

camera idea that Gomez used. The cherry on top? Fans found one clip of Hailey putting some bread into the oven, and as she puts it in, she utters the words, "okie dokie."

July 9, 2018

Justin Bieber announced and confirmed on Instagram that Hailey Baldwin and him were engaged. The engagement happened just two months after the split of "Jelena." There were rumors circulating that there was infidelity in the relationship as Bieber moved on extremely fast. Baldwin didn't do a great job of shutting these rumors down after she was caught following a very questionable account.

The account was a hate page against Selena Gomez.

@exposingSMG stood for "exposing Selena Marie Gomez."

Baldwin followed this account just four months after her engagement to Bieber.

Baldwin claimed this was an accident, but fans of Selena weren't buying it.

Hailey dug herself in a deeper hole two years later after she got a tattoo dedicated to her husband.

This left fans of Selena to dig up the archives.

When Justin and Selena were together, Justin bought Gomez this ring which she was infamous for wearing everywhere.

The ring was a crystal cursive "J" that she wore on her ring finger. The tattoo that Hailey got was also on her ring finger, with a cursive "J," and a sparkle next to it.

However, this wasn't thing that Hailey did that was questionable, and it's not the only tattoo either.

2015

Selena Gomez is her little sisters number one fan. She constantly posts with her on social media and has explained how she has made a huge impact on her life. In 2015, Gomez got a cursive "G" tattooed behind her ear in honor of her sister, Gracie. The same year, Hailey showed off her new tattoo which happened to also be a cursive "G," behind her ear. The meaning of Hailey's tattoo is still a mystery to this day.

These coincidences don't seem to be so "coincidental." The decade long evidence is not in favor of Hailey Bieber and just proves to show that even famous people deal with real world bullies and mean girls. However, this situation does reveal a lesson that everyone can learn: our biggest haters are really just our number one fans.

CBreezy Tears Up the Staples Center

Chris Brown @ Staples Center
Chris Brown certainly gave fans something to scream about during his F.A.M.E. Tour at the Staples Center in Los Angeles Thursday evening, which featured opening numbers from rappers Tyga and Lil’ Bow Wow, and T-Pain, the Auto-Tune Guru.

Brown kicked off his performance, literally with fire and flames to “Say It With Me,” followed by other songs off F.A.M.E., his most recent album, including “She Ain’t You" and “Next 2 You,” to “Look At Me Now.”  He also brought Tyga back on stage during “Deuces,” and to Kevin McCall, another artist on the track.  Brown even took it several years, singing hits from much older albums, such as “Yo (Excuse Me Miss)” from Chris Brown, “With You” from Exclusive.  He also performed songs he was featured in, like "My Last" with Big Sean.  Unfortunately, Big Sean was not onstage with him that evening.

What was most impressive about the evening was his closing performance to “Beautiful People,” also from F.A.M.E.  During those few minutes, Brown and his backup dancers wore electronically-enhanced clothing that lit up according to the choreography.  The singer was also attached to cables and did flips in the air, on top of being suspended mid-air towards the end of his overall concert.

There was not really a time where the crowd...of women, did not go wild.  Brown even highlighted the dominance of women in his audience that night.

"Where all my ladies at?" was followed by a pandemonium of noise that could have easily been confused for a natural disaster.  On the contrary, when brown asked for his "fellas," the response was nowhere close in comparison.

"There are like 15 of y'all in here tonight," Brown said with a slight chuckle.  Agreed, but there might have been a bit more than that...maybe 17 or 18.

Some of his special attendees included Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and Paris Jackson, Michael Jackson's daughter, who Brown gave the royal treatment to.  When the artist learned the King of Pops' daughter was attending, he gave her and a few friends front-row seats to his performance, on top of a meet-and-greet hangout prior to the his show.  Jackson was even seen throughout the night throwing up hearts for Brown on the big-screen televisions.

Chris Brown @ Staples CenterBrown truly graced the stage, showing off his vocal talents and choreography, ultimately letting everyone know why he deserved to be on-stage inside the Staples Center, for the first time, to a sold-out crowd (of girls, women, mothers, daughters, and more).

Without a doubt, Brown's first performance at this venue will not be his last.
